"About Megan Reznicek" text in black on white background

Her journey began in a college darkroom, where Megan first experienced the magic of shaping light, emotion, and story through film. That early moment sparked a lifelong devotion to photography as not just a visual craft, but as a tool for connection, clarity, and meaning.

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Megan has built her career at the intersection of art, business, and human connection. She’s worked globally, helping mission-driven brands tell their stories through compelling visuals: from Afripads in Uganda to LAM Bolivia and Madelife in Boulder, CO. Her expertise spans photography, creative strategy, and brand storytelling, and her ability to adapt and excel across creative disciplines speaks to her passion for people.

With over a decade of experience in editorial, commercial, and fine art photography, Megan brings a rare mix of technical precision, intuitive direction, and visual fluency to every project. She knows how to lead with ease, read a room, and capture the essence of a moment, whether it's unfolding in a studio, a remote village, or a wedding ceremony in the golden hour.

Her entrance into wedding photography was serendipitous. When a friend’s photographer canceled last minute, Megan stepped in, revealing a natural skill (and joy!) for helping people feel both seen and celebrated. Since then, weddings have become a space where all of her skills converge: design thinking, artistic clarity, calm leadership, and a quiet attunement to the emotional undercurrents of the day. She notices the small things such as the way hands reach, the way light catches, the way people soften when they feel safe.

As a 500HR certified yoga instructor, Megan brings a grounded, embodied presence to her work. Years of guiding students into shape and breath have sharpened her ability to gently cue couples into poses that feel natural, elevated, and true to them. The result is images that radiate confidence, ease, and timeless elegance.

To Megan, wedding photography is not just about how a day looks; it is about how it feels. Her work is thoughtful and artful, but more importantly, it is human. Rooted in trust. Created with intention. Designed to last.

When she is not photographing weddings, Megan is tending to her bees in Sunshine Canyon, hiking with her dog Shimoda, teaching yoga, or climbing Mount Sanitas with her fiancé, Patrick.
